Dmitry has been the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of this foundation since 2016. Not only he has actively participated in the organization, but also bring significant contribution to Downside Up foundation in Russia, partner of "Love Syndrome" foundation. He has also become one of the main founders of the "Love Syndrome" and has initiated partnership with the "Downside Up" international foundation. Dmitry Sergeev is a true friend and defender of people with Down syndrome in Russia, one of those who has been creating a comfortable environment for people with mental disabilities allowing them to study, develop, and work.
During his time at the foundation, Dmitry helped implementing projects for people with Down syndrome in the field of sports, volunteering, employment, and the formation of a positive image of a person with Down syndrome in society. Every year on the World Down Syndrome Day, information campaigns are held on Dmitry's initiatives: starting from the film "To Eat an Elephant", produced by Dmitry, continuing with the promotion of "clear language", language which is understandable for people with mental disabilities. In 2022, Dmitry, in cooperation with the "Bazelevs" studio, produced the "Andryusha's Diary" cartoon which tells about a boy with Down syndrome. Thanks to Dmitry, the foundation has a large number of partners and friends: business companies and famous people, actors, athletes, and media representatives.
Dmitry Sergeev was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, he graduated from MGIMO with a degree in International Law in 1998. Dmitry is married and a happy father of three children.
